Just 10 minutes from central Surfer’s Paradise, Rosser Park is a great way to soak up the Gold Coast climate and lifestyle, with plenty of things to do for all the family. Try the Sensory Garden, where you can smell and touch plants and flowers, visit the Butterfly Garden, or take a stroll on the mangroves to mountain walk or on the boardwalks around the lake. There’s also a playground area that is great for setting up a picnic.
The Friends of the Gardens have coffee, tea, and treats available most days (weather permitting).
The park is also popular with dog owners. There is a huge area for off-the-lease exercise. You can access the dog exercise area through the car park near the playground area as well as via the Cabana Boulevard entrance. NOTE: Dogs must be on their leash unless in the signed area. Dogs are not allowed around the central lake and the children’s playground areas.
The Gardens are open every day from 5am to 7pm and entry is free. You can access the on-site car parks from the main entrance on Ashmore Road (opposite the school).
